🛠️ Application Checklist

Prepare surface – Clean, degrease, and dry the area. Sand old paint to 400–800 grit; remove rust completely.
Prime – Apply 1–2 coats of automotive grey/white primer. Allow primer to fully cure before painting.
Shake can – Shake vigorously for at least 2 minutes after the mixing ball starts rattling.
Temperature & humidity – Apply between 15°C – 35°C; relative humidity below 70%. Avoid painting in direct sunlight or on hot panels.
First coat (light mist) – Hold can 25–30 cm from surface. Apply a thin mist coat; allow 5–10 min flash time.
Base coats – Apply 2–3 full coats with 10–15 min between coats. Use even, overlapping passes.
Clear coat – A clear coat (lacquer/2K) is recommended for maximum gloss, UV protection, and durability. Apply within 30–60 min of the final base coat or after 24 hr re-coat window.
Drying times (approx.) – Touch dry: 20–30 min | Handle dry: 1–2 hr | Full cure: 48–72 hr. Avoid washing or polishing until fully cured.
